03-02-2026 Tuesday English Activity – ‘Drawback’
Drawback is a team working game during which the students aren’t allowed to talk. Instead, they have to ‘write’ messages or words on each other’s back. It’s done in teams to make the game more competitive. Teams line up, and the first student, on hearing the ‘start’ signal, ‘writes’ the word on the next student’s back with his finger. The message is passed down the line until the last student. In order to win the game, the last student has to say the word into the microphone. This game is great for bodily-kinesthetic learners who learn best while using their bodies. It also fosters a sense of community and teamwork since it is the responsibility of the whole team to work together and silently get the message across.
