10-02-2026 Tuesday English Activity – ‘Give Me Five’

“Give Me Five” is a fun and fast-paced list-making race. Students work in pairs or small groups. They are given two categories and asked to come up with five things in each category, and write ten words in total. Simple categories would include motor vehicles or animals from the Chinese zodiac, along with more challenging words such as irregular verbs and cities in the Greater Bay Area. The first team to finish win. This activity not only promotes respect for others and their contribution, but also fosters a sense of unity within and across teams.
